Gadr is a big Village of Patti Kolagad.  There are so many casts in the Gadri i.e. Mohta Negi, Kawlra Negi, Rikhola Negi, Kolandi Rawat,  Khunshali Rawat, Bisht, Dhyani, Badola etc.  There is only one family of Bishts in the village.  All the villagers love    each other.  Our East Devta is Barsunda Devta.  There is a  Primary School in Pathoti and a junior High School at Barsundkhal. Bagar, Mayalgaon, Kunaj, Patoti, Gaukhand and Kola are the near by villages.  After the middle education students go to Kunjkhal aur pokhra for their higher education for class X  to XII.
