Thipudampally is just 2 k.m. away from this village. it is very important to have one bridge across ookachetty vaagu between Apparala and Thipudampally to reach Sriramnagar Railway station and Atmkur town. presently people of Pebbair Mandal And part of Veepanagandla, Kollapur, Panagal and Wanaparthy mandals are to travel for a long distance to reach Atmakur and Raichur (Karnataka). This was promised by the then the Chief Minster of A.P.Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu gaaru. But, there is no progress till date. Apparala is a beautiful village in kothakota mandal having surrounding water canals, one Vaagu and agricultural fields. Lord Shiva LINGAM is existing in one small rock cave in PARAMWSHWARUNI GUTTA where every year in PUSHYA MAASAM, bahula paksham i.e FIRST MONDAY after POORNIMA. On that night Lord Shiva's NANDIKOALLA SHEVA will be conducted in midnight and devoties will walk in holy fore with bare foot. Next day i.e. Tues day therewill be one mela . During this period deoties will come in thousands to pray the Lord Shiva. This Location in known as " SUNDARAGIRI.
