It is a rajputs dominated village buts others cast are also avilabe in very good number they are mainly kanu(gupta),nai,kamkar,bhraman. In this village their is two type of rajputs kinwar and beruwar. In west side is dominated by kinwar rajputs(their ancestrials roots from up district ballia vil. Chata) while in east is dominated by beruwar rajputs.
