According to histry, as told by the senior villagers as they heard from their fore fathers that this village was inhabited by then Queen of Gond Dynasty of Jabalpur regime. Village Dimada is prodominently populated by Rajputs locally known as "Purviya Chhatriya". Other castes also marks their presence since long. Metalled approach road of 9.1 Km has been constructed from Samnapur(5 Km from Bareli & 10 Km from Badi) School up to Matric is functioning there. For higher education village boys go to Bareli Tehsil about 15 kilometres away from village. Main occupation of villagers is cultivation. wheat, gram, paddy is main crops of the village. Cellphone connectivity is availablewith in the village by erection of two mobile towers. Holy river Narmada flows majistically 2-km away from here at Seamrighat.
