Recently the two temples have been renovated by the govt. of Karnataka, but still it to be completed for full operation. Main income for this village is from agriculture and milk production. recently commercial crop is pomegranate fruits. which gives very good profit. Very hard working people and recently they are adopting the latest  technology  in agriculture. Due to less rain fall agriculture depending on the bore well. There is al lake about 600 acres.

Regarding education there are 4  engineers in this village  around 60 degree holders 2 master degree holders. 

Education facility one higher primary and for further eduction students has to travel at least 4 to 5 KM to either sanehalli or marabagatta. 

Since it is historical place it can be developed like Amruthapura in Tarikare taluk.
