The village BUDHWACHAK lies in Godda district of Jharkhand state in india.Residentiality in this village could be traced date back to 200 years ago(approx.). In 2011 election for mukhiya held and recognised as panchayat. Under BUDHWACHAK panchayat villages like pipra, sirsa, khanjrichak, chaamchak, vella are counted.Winner of mukhiya election 2011 & 2015 is md. Rafaqat hussain for Budhwachak panchayat,the son of previous Mukhiya md. Khalil ansari and panchayat samiti is Akram Hussain son of Shamim Hussain. This is a 100% muslim populated village and about 1500 muslims resides. and follows Sunni rituals. BUDHWACHAK is mainly renowned for SUFI SHRINES, the followers from distant places gathered here on the occasion of OOR's MUBARAK of the respective sufi saints.The Khilafat process is run by Silsila-e-Nakshabandiya and was brought up by the greatsufi saint Dada pir mursid from up state who resided in BUDHWACHAK and continued the Khilafat process from more than 70 years ago. The present sufi saint is Hazrat Habibullah(r.a.a), a prominent figure for the followers and villagers guiding to the true path laid toAllah.

The festivals like Moharram is celebrated with zeal and whole heartedly. people from the neighboured area come to visit and enjoy Moharram festival in BUDHWACHAK. The people residing in BUDHWACHAK having the silk fabric production as main business,the manufacturer of silk fabrics distribute the raw materials to the crafts man,they weave and produce finished goods and in return get appropriate salary. The village is very popular in Godda district for silk and fabrics manufacturing,the fabric clothes are forwarded to Bhagalpur for further finishing and is finally exported.
