Once upon a time,'Doddahalkuru' is renamed as 'Jayachamarajapura' by 'Jayachamarajendra odeyar' from royal odeyr family in 'Mysore' .This village in having more than '101 shiva statues'.So many of temples are there like,Gramadevata or Goddess of the village are 'Kariyamma','Karalamma' and 'Banashankari' and Sri Veerabhadreshwar temple, Sri Eshwara Temple & Sri Anjeneya Temple & Sri Siddalingeswara temple.In every year there is a big festival is done for the Goddess.for this festival so many of peoples are coming from around 12 villages.The God of this village is 'Sri Bettada Siddeshwra Swamy'.The 'Utsava Murty' of this God is in 'Jyachamarajapura' only,but the main God 'Sri Siddeshwara Swamy' statue is in 'Hire Kallu Betta' its a forest,it is present in 'Ramanahalli Forest' near 'Jayachamarajapura'.Form Ramanahally that is 5 kilometers of walk,there is no any transport service to the place.In the Hire Kallu Betta there is a 3 God statues,they are, 'Lord Siddeshwara','Lord Siddarameshwara', and 'Lord Rameshwara'.There is one Goddess called 'Gangamma'.In time of april-may festival is going there for this God separately.So many of peoples are coming from all over Arsikere Taluk.

Another main God of the village is 'Lord RanganathaSwamy'.The temple of this God is 2 kilometers far from 'Jayachamarajapura'.The Lord Ranganatha Swamy statue and temple was made by 'Tarikere Palegarara'in long ago back.Another statue is there named as 'Kencharaya Swamy'.In summer festival is going there for this God,so many of peoples are comming therefrom all over Karnataka.To reach this temple by any transport services.There are 2-3 KSRTC buses are coming.
