Dhrab village was established around 1760AD by Katchhi Turks. These turks ancesters had migrated from Bukhara and stayed in temprary settlementest near Rasaapir alias Ebrahimshah pir,on on the guidance of Shah Murad pir whose shrine is in Munda known as Shah Bukhari Ji Dharga. First settlers must have settled there for 2/3 generations and then settle in present Dhrab on the bank of Surai Nay (Crawling river). They had close contact with Shah Murad pir as their guidance and relegious leader. The place he used to reside in Dhrab was and is known as Shah Murad Ji Jagya and it still exist in Dhrab till now year 2018.
