Sivannagudem is the real name actually but later it is changed as singannagudem. First of all it is Agraharam brahmins only lives in this village who are emigrants from Malavalli the village which was ruled by Nizams due to the misbehavior of Nizams on brahmins women. Finally Agraharam brahmins decided to leave Malavalli and constructed a shivalayam which was 3km from Malavalli step by step it is changed as small village started with shivalayam brahmins named the village as sivannagudem Agraharam after some year name registered as singannagudem. Shivalayam is the main land mark for singannagudem very famous temple in Bapulapadu mandalam nearly 100 years old temple now singannagudem was developing very rapidly almost all castes all religions are living above 1500 population 1000 voter's. House rentals are very high in this village due to industrialisation surrounding singannagudem excellent ground water almost all crops are cultivated in this village also mangoes, mirchi, maize, Paddy, Goa, lemon, cocunt, palm oil, seed maize and seed cotton, all types of vegetables highly cultivated crop is sugarcane.
