A small village in the down hills of Dameri provided many stellar persinalities like LRD, DCM, AP, DRAVIDO, LKM and many others to the Society. It has orthodox assembly morning session congregations every day at Dravida Chakka where scholars brain storm on issues of world political situation, strategic miss out of ICC, FIFA, Global warming effecting kanjamendi, unemployment and many other important aspects. The village has full of ideas but struggling on resources, it desires to be a model village but lacking honest contribution from majority of its well wishers. Everything it need is basic such as Basic medical facility, Basic sanitation, agriculture, infrastructure and Quality education. There are many Doctors, Software Engineers, MCAs, MBAs, Lawers, Teachers, professors, Bank Managers, Development Officers, CA, Architectures, Administrative officers, Defence service persons and other professionals born in this village. It is epic that only the Farmers, the small traders, the teachers, native politicians, and the youth is nurturing the dream of makiing this village a model one while the others are enjoying their lives across Globe. Can we take out some time and thing beyond indicators (health, wealth, education, employment, infrastructure, security etc) of a model village where the Elders have right to free and quality medical help, free nutritious diet, entertainment, physical recreational activities, and right to set path of the village for future. A village where the young ones get access to basic sports facilities, where they learn how to bowl a googly like Kumble used to, how to play football like Pele. Dusks where people sing and dance and talk about how good the day had gone rather than worrying about trouble of tomorrow. Kanjamendi is a small beitiful energetic village in the downhills of mountain Dameri. I am taking a pledge to help the Sarpanch Mr. Sanira Pradhan to make all the villages under this Gram panchayat a model village.
