Karambele is 6 km distance from Sangmeshwar ST Bus Stand & 09 Km from Devrukh ST Depot by road on State Highway: Sangmeshwar – Devrukh – Kolhapur (MSH 107). 

There is a Temple of God Shree Gangoba Dev. It is very beautiful (Svayambhu Shiva) Mandir and situated at very lonely place on the hill in the wild life forest area.

If anybody wants to visit there, you have to walk 20-25 minutes from the state highway towards the hill for Shree Gangoba Mandir or you can go by your own vehicle also to till the Shree Gangoba Mandir. 

You can see the very beautiful view sight from the top of this place. While walking towards Shree Gangoba Mandir, you can enjoy the full beautiful view of Sahyadri Ranges, View of Gadgadi (Sonvi) River, View of Pazar Talao, View of Chandoli National Park (Top of Sahyadri Range), there is a Small Zarna (Wild life water drinking Place), Beautiful Ambrai - Big old trees, Mango trees, Jamun trees, Aatak trees, Karvande trees and many more. (You can also chance to see the wild Rabbits, Taras, Wild Cocks, Peacocks, Monkeys, Wild Pigs, Wild Fox, Wild Cats, Mongoose, Leopards, Sayhadri Tigers and Verities of Birds.

Please visit with team or more than 03-04 people at a time & there is not any guide. The local villager gives support or guidance for the same.

Please don’t try to visit single or two people towards Shree Gangoba Mandir due to wild life & don’t try to go with your own vehicle towards Shree Gangoba Mandir in the monsoon.
