Baddikere is small village it contains many temples. Main temple of the village is Sri Basaveswara swamy temple. This is more then 100 year old temple. Other then that place also has few other temples.1) Narasihama swamy temple2)Srinvas temple(mudalagiriyappa swamy temple.3) Laxmidevi temple.And so on. Village contains government primary High school. Villager will Celebrate the Sri Basaveswara Swamy Jatra every year. This Celebration will held for one week.First Day of Celebration will bring Bani from Bani Tree this is the indication of starting of Jatra. Once jatre started whole village should follow the few set of rules.main rule will whole village should not Eat Non-Veg till completion of jatra Celebration.From the second day onwards. All villagers will gather infroant temple at 9PM. and all the Boys and Children will do RANGA Kunitha(It is one kind of Dance with tamate) and in between village will do comedy. It will continue upto 1AM. Till 7th day RANGA Kunitha will continue. On the Last day of the Main prist of the Basaveswara swamy will do Pooja at 8pm and he will tie God in Hand after tiying he will put steps to tomate sound in Raja bidhi. It will continue till 12AM after that will do Pooja to the Ratha(chariot) after the Pooja main prist will make rice ball and he will will try to hit kalasa of the Ratha(chariot). Hiting to Kalasa with rice ball is indication of how much wealth will come this year. After this Morning all every one will pull the chariot after that from the temple trust will issue Prasad to all devotees.Onec this is completed will remve the Kalasa from ratha (chariot). This is end of the Jathra.
