The ancient Balaji Temple of Mahalpur is build by ancestors of Devre family who also build the Mahalpur village and the place where this family lived was known as Balaji wada. The ancient Balaji Temple is around 180 year old. Shri Dattajayanti program, Balaji rath yatra, Badrinath mandir rath yatra program are celebrated by the villagers of Mahalpur and Bahadarpur every year.
